Wildhaus - Toggenburg has 11 pistes with a total length of 60 kilometers (38 miles). Wildhaus - Toggenburg is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 15 kilometers (9 miles) of cross country ski trails at Wildhaus - Toggenburg. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and 2 half pipes. A small proportion of the pistes at Wildhaus - Toggenburg are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Zurich.

Part of the interlinked Toggenburg ski area, Wildhaus is very busy on weekends with skiers from the local cities of Zurich and Winterthur. There is a large parking area an easy stroll from the bottom of the main chairlift where there is also a cash desk to buy passes. Wildhaus has a large children's ski school, next to the main car park. The other Toggenburg stations also have ski schools.
From Wildhaus you can catch a series of lifts to the topmost peak in the area and enjoy a long run down. The views from the top are amazing - you can see Lake Constance, Austria and Lichtenstein. One word of warning - a hat and goggles are often needed as it can get very windy, cold or snowy. I've needed goggles every time we've been up.
