Your “next 3 days” and “4 to 6 days” display format is consistently difficult to understand!
Any chance you could simply put the 7 day forecast in point form and in chronological order.

I love Snow-Forecast, but I have to be honest, I do not understand how the new snow alerts work. The little bars don't make much sense to me. The old system was great and super easy to understand.

Hey Guys - The new snow alert format is not very helpful. They don't show the predicted snowfall in cm's or inches just little red bars that I don't understand. Is there way to go back in the settings?

After following your forecast for many years, I see that you usually follow the GFS model, which, like this week, forecast more that 1.5 meter of snow, while the ECMWF model is more correctly say 45-50cm of snow. Then, and it is that way almost every time, the GFS model will go along with the EC model. It's time you go with the EC model instead of the "sensations generating" GFS.
Again, this is not a "One time" observation, is a constat behavior. -

Can we please get the source for the historic snowfall data? The site gives some very bogus outputs, which are non - sensical when compared to real life.
For example, a comparison of Whistler Blackcomb with Asahidake, Japan shows that Whistler supposedly gets MORE snow, averaging 70cm a WEEK from the end of October to the Start of April, giving an almost 19 METER annual snowfall. This is absolutely not reflected in reality, and makes resort comparison for trip planning purposes on the whole site useless.

Andermatt was a great spot for free-ride. This year, they changed the parking paiment system. Before, you got a ticket at the barrier, currently no more barrier, but you get fined 40CHF. I assume that there is some hidden indication that tells you where to pay. A daily ticket was 89 CHF, one of the highest price in Switzerland (except Zermatt).
On the top of that, people working at the resort, are far from frienly, and speak Swiss German only. Welcome to the Vail Company!
I strongly encourage people to think twice before going to Andermatt. There are plenty of options in the Alps.

Thanks for your great service.
Today I clicked on two different maps on SF.
One had sea level pressure the other freezing level.
To me freezing level or snow level seem to be much more relevant.
As a skier/snowboarder I am not concerned about pressure levels, but snow starting at which altitude.
Pressure levels can be found on normal weather sites, but your unique service is where to find snow. -

Your forecast for Murren village 1650m in Switzerland is often wrong. Today is a prime example. You base the forecast at an alt of 1882m. The forecast states it is snowing but in fact it is raining in the village.
Why can you not base it at 1650m ??

Technical Issue: Cannot change measurement units from Metric to Imperial Standard.
After clicking edit on the unit of measurement and choosing Imperial from the drop-down menu, then clicking update, the UI looks as if it will update but then stays the same.
Would love to not have to log out of my account to see the forecast in inches since I'm too lazy to convert it myself! Thanks :)

I don't know where you get your snow depth data. There is well over a meter of snow depth at the Base of Steamboat but you state about half of reality.

Hi, I just found this resort location is wrong by check the (Lat Long: 47.50° N 122.10° W)
https://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/The-Summit-at-Snoqualmie/12day/midThis is the correct one: https://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Snoqualmie/12day/mid
Please consider remove the first one. It will confuse users.

In Washington State there is a duplicate listing for one resort with differing weather and elevation information. One listing is "The Summit at Snoqualmie" and one is listed as "Summit at Snoqualmie". One of these resort listings need to be removed and the information on the ratings and photos should be consolidated.

Just interested in why the forecast maps now show sea level pressure rather than freezing level.
The freezing level was great and very useful, the air pressure less so.
Is there an option to change this or view differently/
Many thanks -

Hi - Have been a subscriber for some time, I like the site a great deal and find it very useful. There is one thing that bugs me though. I ski in the French Alps and as most of the weather there comes from the Atlantic it would be useful to me to be able to replace the 'Eurasia' view with an 'Atlantic and Europe' view showing the Eastern seaboard of the US, the Atlantic and the Western half of Europe. Even better would be to pick a level of magnification and then drag and drop the map to get the view you want. Just a suggestion, keep up the great work. Thanks.
(note from the editor: many thanks for your feedback. Your suggestions will be passed to the team.)

I've been sick, and haven't logged in for some time. I now find your site is un-usable on a Mac with either Safari or Chrome. It's ok with Window 10.
Eventually, with Chrome, giving

as the URL, and working my way back to login, I got a normally styled screen, but Safari, not so.[note from the editor: thank you for sending us your feedback.]

Please can you shed some light on calling pen y fan a ski resort? It's nothing like one! Very odd.

On your page about Nozawa Onsen http://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Nozawa-Onsen, you have the nearest train station as Togarinozawaonsen. It's not, it's Iiyama.
Separately (and maybe this isn't fixable...), your forecasts of temperature and relative amounts of snowfall/precipitation are pretty good. But your algorithm consistently underestimates the absolute amount of snowfall in Nozawa Onsen by 20%-50%. This has consistently been the case since I started using your service 3 years ago. Otherwise, very helpful and useful service. Thank you.
Please fix!
Peter

Cypress Mountain has been reporting 0.3-1.1 degrees C on their web page for the past couple days. The forecast on snow-forecast.com has indicated 6-11 degrees over the same time period.
Why isn't the forecast updated when reported temperatures differ by so much? The forecast states min 10, max 11, and was issued today. Meanwhile at the mountain it's about 1 degree C. This has been the case for about 3 days and the discrepancy continues.
I don't expect forecasts to always be right, but I do expect them to be updated so that at least the current conditions are correct.
[note from the editor: thank you for getting in touch; you should enrol as an Eyeball Reporter so your 'live' weather observations can be seen on the relevant web pages: help@snow-forecast.com with a Twitter ID. Or click the "Is it snowing?" icon. Both methods are provided for the reason of supplying weather conditions at resorts.]
