Flumet, situated in the Alps (in Savoie), is at the centre of the High Val d'Arly Mont-Blanc area. In this ski resort, which merges Flumet and Saint Nicolas la Chapelle territories, authenticity, well preserved nature and various quality sport facilities are harmoniously combined. Flumet is a large resort with 82 lifts (29 chair lifts, 53 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1070 metres (3512 feet) of vertical descent. Flumet has 153 pistes. There are 2 kilometers (1 mile) of cross country ski trails at Flumet. Over half of the pistes at Flumet are covered by snowmaking.

We had a fantastic stay in Flumet. Two families, 8 in total. The two mountain restaurants are superb and the service at La Ferme de Zecon, especially Olivia, was fantastic. Will try not to recommend this quiet little gem! Ideally for families and young children who want to progress their skiing. The green run La Bellette through the trees is superb although probably more blue than green but plenty of options in the whole Espace Diamant area. We will return...
